The last of the true farmer grade saws in the 300 series from Husqvarna. Based on older technology than the current crop of professional saws, the 365 shares its DNA with the professional saws from a few years ago. Lots of torque, plenty of power and rock-solid reliability make this saw well worth considering for general logging and felling work. Closely related to the now replaced 372XP, also with a 70cc engine, the 365 prodes close to 5hp. You won’t get more reliable, quality power for the same price, from any manufacturer. To get closer to 372XP performance, some of our customers change sprockets to increase the chain speed on the 365, and report big gains on log cutting speed.
At the time of writing this, we’re awaiting delivery of the new 572XP, the professional stablemate of this 70cc saw. But we’re expecting the 572XP to be the next natural step up in terms of performance and power, albeit with Autotune, which some users prefer to avoid and others embrace.
RRP shown is for the 20″ version that we carry in stock, but the bar and chain can be changed on request, from 13″ up to 24″ (28″ bars are available, but we don’t recommend going that large on this particular saw).
Designed with professional users in mind, the Husqvarna 365 is a resilient, rugged and versatile petrol chainsaw that offers high performance in the most demanding conditions. A professional chainsaw suitable for a variety of applications, it has a range of user focussed features designed to maximise the pro chainsaw users efficiency. Helpful features include an X-Torque 70cc chainsaw engine, that improves fuel economy by up to 20% and torque up to 18%, while the chainsaws air injection system cleans the air before entering the engine to reduce both engine wear and air filter maintenance. This chainsaw comes with an optional 18” or 20” chainsaw bar.
Domestic / Home owner saws
Averaging 4 hours a month, used for cutting up firewood, pruning trees and the occasional felling or cutting up operation.
Farmer / Land owner
Used for an average of up to 4 hours a week, for all aspects of tree-work and maintenance. Capable of performing all of the operations that a professional saw would be used for, but balancing price against features and longevity. For example, it may be less technologically advanced or slightly heavier than it’s ‘pro’ equivalent.
For the full time forest worker, arborist or tree surgeon. Expected to work in the region of 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. If your livelihood depends on a chainsaw, then these saws are designed for you. Life expectancy will ultimately depend on the conditions that it’s used in, along with the amount of maintenance it receives, but Husqvarna offer a 2-year warranty on all of their professional saws.
